Energy Company Obligation (or ECO).

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) is the closest to the previous grant system in that it is targetted at the lower income and vulnerable households where the Green Deal 'Golden Rule' does not apply. Green Deal

Green Deal is essentially a government backed loan with a Golden Rule which ensures that energy bills plus loan repayments should cost no more than would the energy bills alone, without the measures having been taken. Visit the Green Deal Helpline website for further information and to apply.

About 25% of heat from UK homes is lost through the roof. Insulation should be applied to the loft area to a depth of 270mm, both between the joists and above.
