If you're thinking about converting one bedroom or more of your four or five bedroom house into a "study" or "office" to reduce the number of bedrooms to 3, in order to get around having to achieve compliance with the conditions set out in a Home Information Pack, think again.
It will probably work out cheaper to comply with the conditions, than to convert your house to "3 bedrooms and a study".
And of course the value of your home will reflect the number of bedrooms you are able to advertise to buyers, plus the fact that your house IS compliant.
